Who is responsible

Your data in Magpie is handled by ООО «ВВВ Трейд» (VVV Trade LLC), registration number 325712-3310-ООО, 44 Salievoy St., office 124, Osh, Kyrgyz Republic. Questions and requests go to info@magpie.guru.

What we keep

To write your readings we keep your Telegram user ID, the language you chose, your birth date and, if you give them, your birth time and place. We also keep a list of the readings you bought, the question you typed for a paid tarot reading, and the purchase records that Telegram requires us to hold.

What we never keep

We never keep your palm photo after it has been processed. We never read fingerprints or build any biometric template from your hand. We never see or store payment card data: payments are made in Telegram Stars, and Telegram handles them.

Your palm photo

When you order a palm report, the photo is uploaded through the Magpie app directly to our server, not through the chat. It is processed there to find the main lines of the hand and deleted within minutes. The report you receive shows a schematic drawn hand, not your photo. Before upload, the app removes the camera's location data and other metadata from the photo and reduces its resolution, on your device, to the size the line analysis needs. Magpie never reads or stores fingerprints.

Who else sees data

Our hosting provider runs the servers where Magpie and its data live.

A text-generation service writes the wording of each reading. It receives the calculated brief for that reading, such as planetary positions or the cards and runes drawn, and, for a paid tarot reading, the question you typed. We do not send it your Telegram ID, name or any other identifier. Please do not put personal details in the question you type for a paid reading.

We use no advertising or analytics vendors. This website counts page visits with a self-hosted counter that does not set cookies or follow you across other sites. We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Your account data stays until you delete it. A paid report, together with any question you typed for it, is kept for 7 days so you can open it again, and then deleted, unless you save it. Purchase records are kept as long as Telegram's rules and the applicable law require.

Your rights

You can delete everything Magpie holds about you at any time from the app's settings, or by writing to info@magpie.guru with your Telegram username. You can also ask us what data we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.

The only exception is purchase records that Telegram's rules or the law require us to keep: they stay for the required period and are used for nothing else.

Children

Magpie is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly keep data about children; if we learn that a user is under 18, we delete their data.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and its date, and announce significant changes in the bot.
